Republic Day is our national festival. In 1929, an important session of the Congress was held in Lahore, on the banks of the Ravi river, in which, with the ideal inspiration of leaders like the late Lokmanya Tilak and Gokhale, the Congress pledged to liberate or independence India until the country had complete independence If found, our country devotees will not breathe peace and peace.

26 January is our national festival, which signifies the complete independence of India. It has historical and national importance. On August 15, 1947, India gained its lost independence.

The country became independent. The British left India. In 1950, a new Constitution of India was prepared and a new foundation of governance was laid in the whole country.

On 26 January of the same year, India was declared a republic. Accordingly, social, economic and political rights were given to every citizen of the country and equal opportunities were given to all.

There is no discrimination of caste and gender. It declared India a secular state and respected human qualities. In fact, this day (26 January) takes us towards a new direction of awakening and reminds us every year of civil liberties and complete independence.

With great preparation on this national festival, we tell the stories of the immortal sacrifices of the immortal martyrs of the country, hoisting the national flag at their homes, offering flowers of reverence at the feet of Bharatmata and repeating the pledge that at any cost All will protect the complete freedom of the country by forgetting the mutual discrimination.

On 26 January 1950, the Republic which we had laid a firm foundation and dreamed of removing gender, caste, religion from governance and building a classless and casteless society, seems to be disintegrating today.

But we do not have to be disappointed and continue the struggle. India’s independence has also affected many countries in Asia and Africa. They too are now freed one by one from abroad.

That is why the Republic Day of 26 January brings a new message not only to India but to all Asia and Africa.

It is clear that Republic Day strengthens our political independence, independence of the country, freedom of civil rights and the new creation of a classless and casteless society and every year fills us with renewed vigor and resolve.
